Presenters will include Michael Jacobson, the Director of the Vera Institute of Justice, who will present a history of pretrial services and their importance today. Other presenters will be Lynn Overmann, the Deputy Counselor of the Access to Justice Initiative of the U.S. Department of Justice; Jon Wool, the Vera Institute New Orleans Director; Nadiene Van Dyke from the New Orleans Police and Justice Foundation; and a representative from the Mayor's Administration.
